IMPORTANT SEGWAY REQUIREMENTS:

• Riders under 18 must be accompanied by parent or guardian.
• All Riders must be age 12 and older and must weight over 100 lbs or 45 kilos.
• Training takes 40-45 minutes, Tour time is  2.5 Hours including the training time.

San Francisco Waterfront Guided Segway Tour

 

After a 40-45 minute training on how to safely operate the Segway, you'll explore the San Francisco waterfront  on this Fully Guided and Narrated Tour! Reservations are required. Riders must be ages 12 and up and must weight 100lbs or more. All tours start on time, so please arrive 15 minutes early.

• Fisherman's Wharf and its picturesque fishing harbors

• National Maritime Museum and the historic sailing ships at Hyde Street Pier
• Visit behind the scenes where the fishing industry, fleet and seafood processing are located.

Most of ours tours will stop for beverages and snacks in The North Beach area. While in North Beach quickly visit Washington Square and St. Peter and Paul Church. Every tour makes numerous stops for photos.

San Francisco Downtown Hop On Hop Off Loop:

Daily: Every 30 minutes from 9:30am - 5:00pm

This 90 Minute Loop shows you all the highlights of the city. Enjoy an entirely live narrated tour of San Francisco's most famous sites. Highlights include Union Square, Financial District, Chinatown, Northbeach, City Hall, Lombard Street and much more. Your ticket includes unlimited Hop On and Off privileges at any of the designated stops for 2 Consecutive Days.

Golden Gate Loop:

Daily at 10:00am, 12:00pm, 2:00pm and 4:00pm

The 90 Minute Loop visits one the world's most famous Landmarks, The Golden Gate Bridge, with live narration from one of our professional guides. Cross the 1.7 mile span of the Golden Gate Bridge. From the top deck, you'll have unobstructed views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, Angel Island, Marin Headlands. Your Ticket is valid for any one departure of The Golden Gate Loop Tour.

San Francisco City by Night Tour:

Daily at 6:00pm or 7:00pm dependent on the season

This 60 Minute Loop of San Francisco includes the best of the city by night. The tour highlights the Financial District, Chinatown, Northbeach, Union Square, The Embarcadero and much more. See San Francisco light up before your eyes.

Golden Gate Park Loop:

Daily at 10:00am and 4:00pm

The Golden Gate Park Loop explores Alamo Square -home to the world famous "Painted Ladies" Victorian homes and then makes its way Golden Gate Park - home to the renowned De Young Museum, The Japanese Tea Gardens and the new multimillion dollar California Academy of Sciences.

For rider safety please no flip flops, sandals or high heel shoes.

The Double Decker All Loops Ticket is good for 2 days for any available departure and does not require advance reservations.

 

Segway Tour Departure Location:

Segway Tours depart from the rear parking lot at 757 Beach Street near the corner of Hyde Street. Located across Beach Street from the Hyde Street Cable Car turn around in Fisherman's Wharf. A Wells Fargo Bank ATM is at the entrance to our training area. Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled tour time. Detailed directions and maps of the meeting location will be provided upon confirmation of your Segway Tour.

Who can ride a Segway? Are Segways safe for children or people with disabilities?

Riding a Segway is similar to riding a bike-it's intuitive but nobody is born knowing how to operate it. That's why the tour includes 40-45 minutes (estimated) of training so you can get familiar with riding a Segway.

Rider Requirements:

Segway riding is not recommended for pregnant women. Unfortunately, pregnant women will not be permitted to participate.

All guests must be able to easily and quickly step on and off the Segway without any assistance, which requires physical abilities similar to climbing and descending stairs without assistance or use of a handrail. You will be standing for 2 hours.

A Segway is not an ideal mode of touring for people with some mobility issues. You will be standing for 2 Hours. Please call if you have questions. This activity is not recommended for guests age 70 and up.

The Segway is not appropriate for those weighing under 100 pounds or over 250 pounds (46-113 kilos.) Helmets and reflective vests are provided and required.

 

We do require that all riders be at least 12 years old.

DOUBLE DECKER DEPARTURE LOCATION:

Fisherman's Wharf: Ticket Office at 2800 Leavenworth Street, San Francisco, CA 94133 between Jefferson and Beach Streets.

Parking: Paid parking and limited metered parking are available in The Fisherman's Wharf Area. For guests that are driving we recommend driving to Fisherman's Wharf to meet the tour and not to Union Square.

Handicap Accessibility: Buses are not handicapped accessible. Wheelchairs and motorized chairs cannot be accommodated on the buses.

 

Payment:

Your credit card will be charged the total amount of products and services selected at the time of booking. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover Cards.

Confirmation & Travel Voucher:

This tour must be booked at least 24hrs in advance of your travel date. Your confirmation for this product will be received within 12-24 hours subject to availability. You will receive a confirmation email with a link to your E-Ticket Voucher. Print this voucher on and present SIGNED voucher at departure location. Only one voucher will be created per tour or activity for all travelers.

Changes or Cancellation and No Show Policy:

Cancellations within 72 hours of the tour are charged in full. Cancellations prior to 24 hours are charged are fully refundable. We charge 100% for No Shows. If the tour is cancelled by the tour operator, the full ticket price will be refunded.

Liability Agreement:

All customers will be required to review and sign our tour agreement and liability waiver before starting their tour. The Sausalito Electric Tour Company assumes no responsibility for delays caused by accidents, breakdown, bad conditions of the road and other conditions beyond control, in addition to insufficient numbers of guests. Not responsible for loss or damage to property.

Tour Size, Routing and Weather:

We reserve the right to change the size or routing of the tour to meet demands for that specific day. The Bay Area is famous for the fog! Our tours run fog, light rain or shine. We always suggest multiple layers of warm clothing for any outdoor activity. Summer afternoon temperatures can be in the 50's. Rain gear is available for those infrequent rainy days. Segways are designed to run in any weather. If seasonal fog or weather obscures the view, tour routes may be altered. You will not be charged if we cancel a tour.

Meals Souvenirs and Miscellaneous Costs:

Tour prices do not include Meals, Beverages, Admission Fees, Ferry Tolls or Souvenirs.

Supplier and Tourcorp assume no responsibility for delays caused by accidents, breakdown, weather, conditions of trails, roads, bays, oceans, rivers, airspace and any other conditions beyond control of Supplier, in addition to insufficient numbers of passengers.

Comfortable shoes, extra layer of warm clothing, hats, visors and sunglasses. Weather: Tour route or activity may be changed depending on local weather conditions. Gratuities and Souvenirs are not included.
